KobeWieland Copper Products, LLC is a joint venture company between Kobe Steel, LTD. and Wieland-Werke AG. Both companies stand for excellence in quality and service of products and for continuity. KobeWieland Copper Products strives to reach goals concerning productivity, a new kind of work environment, a dedication to quality and a fundamental concern for people. Our advanced manufacturing capabilities make us one of the most modern copper tube operations. We need all employees to respect each other by being a team player, and encourage everyone to do their best. We also emphasize education and employee self-development. In 2008, KWCP started a European-style apprenticeship program that provides a free education in one of three fields to our most promising employees and local high school students. We also provide tuition reimbursement for those who choose to pursue an industrial related program at one of the surrounding community colleges.

We believe that given the opportunity, an individual will use his/her talents to think, be logical, efficient and creative. Because of this belief about human behavior, we maintain that the best management philosophy is one that nurtures and allows an individual to maximize his/her contributions to the business without sacrificing human dignity and respect. Based on this philosophy, we think input to decision making should be made at the lowest possible level in the organization. We also think daily decisions should be based on long term planning as defined by the company and that all members of the organization must be committed to the management philosophy, and that all members in the organization should be receptive to change.
